Finance Week Recap

It’s been an exciting beginning of March 2021.

A lot of things happening in the market and here is our recap for the last week.

The passage of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan signed by President Joe Biden will definitely have an impact on today’s economy. However, what many economists are looking at is what will the impact be on the long run. We would love to hear your thoughts on this matter.

Vaccinations accelerated by 40% which is giving the market a positive feel and businesses hope in resuming normal activities. Will this along with the financial stimulus encourage small businesses to invest and grow? We will see in the next couple of months.

All 11 S&P 500 sectors had positive returns for the week encouraging an optimistic feel.

And contrary to the week before, the best performing sector was the consumer discretionary sector.
